All these image were captured with either a Canon 350D or 450D SLRC mounted on a Sky-Watcher 80mm refractor, auto guided using Orion “StarShoot” autoguider, then processed in Deep sky stacker with finishing touches in Photoshop.

This gallery shows what can be captured from a light polluted garden in the centre of a large(ish) town, with bright LCD street lights less than 50 metre away, plus a neighbours garden to the south of me with security lights that light up my house roof that come on at regular interval due to wandering animals.

So don’t get discouraged if your situation is not ideal, make the best of it.
